The Bushman is an incredible tracker in the bush. The South African Defense Force (SADF) had a Bushman Battalion (31 Battalion) who helped the SADF forces track enemies during the various skirmish’s taking place. This tracking knowledge is still passed down from father to son and is part of the learning experience many traditional Kalahari Bushmen still view as integral for the survival of their culture.
